Boat explosion on lake harris in Astatula
On Little Lake Harris in Astatula a boat explosion occured which injured two men and an infant on board just before 2 p.m. Saturday, according to their local Wildlife officials.
The boat was tied up at the dock getting ready to sail on the lake when it suddenly exploded,according to the investigators.
The two men jumped overboard with the baby and swam to shore while their boat sank behind them.
All three were evacuated by helicopter.
The men were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, while the baby was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital.
