NLC Strike Update: Ayuba Wabba Faction Calls off Strike
Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC) Strike led by Ayuba Wabba faction over increase in fuel price from N86.50 to N145 which started on 18th May 2016, has been called off. The strike involved participation from members of Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU).
No official statement has been released from ASUU to participating members yet.
Analysts believe this strike has been largely ineffective, as participation by workers across the country was below previous strike over subsidy in 2014.
