7 killed in Bogra bus-truck collision in Shepur,India

At least seven people were killed and 25 injured as a bus collided head on with a truck on Dhaka-Bogra highway in Sherpur on Friday (June 3) morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately, while seven of the injured are in critical condition.

Sherpur Fire Service officer Sohel Rana confirmed the matter to banglanews adding, “A Dinajpur-bound bus collided head on with a stone-laden truck in front of Avijat hotel at 6.15am, leaving the casualties.”

The injured were rushed to Sherpur Upazila Health Complex and Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College.

The accident halted vehicular movement through the area for about an hour, leading to a traffic jam.
